Thank you to those who have voted! The color palette has been chosen and it is time to start some major planning. I am very excited, yet nervous to start this adventure. My lack of experience in decorating will soon be shown when we start reviving this old farm house. From this color palette we will be redesigning every room in the house.

Our House ~

Three years ago my husband and I made the big move to country living. This is the first time I have lived in the country and there is a lot of take in and maintain, which I am learning on a daily basis. Yet, years after making the move we are still living with the same curtains and fixtures from the previous owners ( you will get a taste of what I am talking about soon we when start to post remodeling pictures).

It is hard to admit that I haven't made any major changes but life kind of happened. I never understood the serious ongoing maintenance that we were going to have to do to keep everything on the outside (like mowing two acres and landscaping) looking suitable and updating the outdated mayhem.

Now, I am ready to seriously address some of decorating disasters in the house and create a home for my growing girls. We are excited to share our journey with you and have you join in our major decisions.

We are posting color schemes (today’s vote) fabrics, decor  etc. Each survey will consist of two or more options that both my husband and I have come to a consensus on. But you are making the final decisions!And it could be the most important vote of them all because you will be setting the color pallet for my entire house and future surveys! It’s time to start making some major changes to our house. But my husband and I have very different taste and can’t come to an agreement on anything! His style is more outdoors-men with animal prints plastering the walls. And my style is shabbier chic. Somehow, we can’t find that happy medium. So we need your help!

Each week we are going to post our favorites. From color schemes to fabrics, you will get to vote on whose favorite you like best!  We will provide pictures and descriptions of each room so you can answer according to what you think are the best option.
